Making Peace with Impermanence

Is it possible to cherish the beauty of life not just despite its perishability but precisely because of it?

Surprisingly, Kat’s research and personal experience have brought her to discover that:

• Happiness increases with the awareness that life is fragile and fleeting.

• Facing the inevitability of loss, grieving fully and finding acceptance, help us savor life and increase our happiness today.

• Gratitude for what matters most is easier to experience when life’s fleeting nature is salient.

• Impermanence gives rise to joy, presence, compassion, reverence, and awe.

Join Kat in this talk to discover new possibilities when we make peace with impermanence at this time of our lives.
