Composer and pianist Donn Rochlin will present a unique and interactive topic, The Improvised Life. He mixes improvised piano interludes with his five steps to successful improvisation in music. Donn will speak about how these steps directly relate to non-musicians as well as musicians and other artists.

BIO: Donn Rochlin Pianist/Composer
In addition to teaching privately for over thirty years he has conducted clinics and workshops at colleges, and music organizations in sixty five cities throughout the U.S
For seven years he performed his music for millions of visitors to the Portland International Airport, in addition to engagements at: The Riverplace Hotel, Hotel Deluxe, The Pittcock Mansion, The Pac West Center, Poco Diablo Resort, and Fairfield Country Club. In addition, he composed for and toured with the Intimate Flight Dance Company. The Moment in Time Dance Company, The Ashland Children’s Dance Theater, and The 4th St. Kids, Dance Company.
