Ken Turner Nova Lux Choir

The Lake Chapala community has a new performing group that is generating much enthusiasm among local music lovers. Nova Lux is a Chamber Choir that is a branch of the newly formed Las Voces del Lago Community Chorus. August 23 the choir will present a concert of Spanish Renaissance music as well as other choral treasures at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church.

 

Come hear from director Ken Turner about his transition from teaching music to US high school kids to a more “seasoned” Lakeside singing community. The full choir will attend and provide a musical sample from their upcoming performance.”
