“To help the people of San Pedro Itzicán and the surrounding towns improve their lives and the lives of others for generations to come.”
This mission guides our work, from teaching sustainable gardening to offering skills like music, dance, English, and hairdressing. We empower individuals to become financially independent and support youth and adults in their education.
Francisco Nava, a founding member of Poco A Poco San Pedro Itzicán, is passionate about creating lasting change. As a sustainable garden consultant and teacher, he shares his expertise in a monthly column for Ojo Del Lago, Verdant View. Having lived in both Guadalajara and the US, Francisco now calls Lakeside home, bringing his knowledge and dedication to the community.
