Larry Pihl has championed Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts with Vote From Abroad (VFA) on a Mexico-wide level since 2011. Larry works to ensure compliance with UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act). This is the crucial act that allows you and all other United States citizens living abroad to vote from outside the U.S.

In fact, UOCAVA requires that all states plus D.C. and Puerto Rico and all the Territories allow U.S. citizens living or working abroad to vote by absentee ballot in elections. This legislation was signed by Ronald Reagan in 1986 and is administered by the Department of Defense.
